There is a bicycle marathon currently running and the man is representing his hometown of Nicago. He is looking to win so that his poor town may finally receive recognition from the other towns and get out of poverty. Because he is the fastest racer in his town, the people have entrusted the victory onto him. He is under a lot of pressure to succeed. Although he is fast, is he fast enough to beat everybody? It is the day of the race. His heart is pounding, but he knows he must go on for there are people depending on his victory. He starts the race but notices there is one person faster than him. Immediately his courage is shot and he doesn't perform his best. He ends up becoming second place and the villagers look down upon him. His entire family becomes ostracized from the village.
